Thats because it was a rough draft sent in. I am secretly working on one that will be better. Curt wanted one to replace the England Badge he was using. If you have any suggestions let me know.

yes it was just a rough design i couldnt use the england logo

Quite like the new layout, used to look a bit bare but not anymore.

site will be under maintenence soon so dont panic

ill also be using a silver temporery theme i found on google whilst i make this site "brighter"

people i looked at the leaderboards for this forum its got a purple ! meaning its new and we are already 31st and need 1 more member and 2 new topics to leapfrog 2nd

i like the layout on this site easy to locate stuff can a story thread be made for fm user

There have been a few subtle changes to the layout now. More will follow.

Will do some more work tomorrow. I have got myself some lovely looking icons to be added and will replace the football ones that currently exist. These are far better than the ones I made.

Green is a good colour to have pschology wise. Apparently its a calm colour and keeps people calm. Thats why they have green rooms in television studios. True fact.

I have changed the style of the NEW TOPIC button as the old one was looking like part of the old skin. I have made it a lighter blue as it tends to sit next to the reply button so can tell the difference.

it actually helps, well a bit. LOL

New sections have been added and some topics have been moved around to fit into the sections.

I have spent a fair amount of time trying to make the forums a little tidier now. Added a few sections etc. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated. If there is anything I have missed or you would like added then let me know.

Thank you Nathan. It has taken Curt and I a while over the last week to get it this far. Improvements wil still be made and dont forget if you want a section added let us know and we will see what we can do.

The final header is now up and will be the last. It looks more proffesional than the previous others. Looked at a lot of forum headers and realise many are simple and effective. Also hope it sells the site more.

Seriously? I'm shocked. If you look at most forums the header is a simple design. In fact very simple and most dont even have a good banner just text telling people what the site is.

Im sorry but I have to express this opinion. The black looks shit. Its way too dark. The colours being used are all wrong for it. All the icons and buttons look out of place now and do not fit the forum at all. My opinion is it looks way worse than when we first started.

The more I look at it the more it gives me a headache. If it is supposed to be a football manager/sports chat site it now looks totally the wrong forum for the forum that is being created. Sorry but thats how I see it.

If its going to change every week because people dont like the layout one week to the next then I cant see it taking off. Forum members want a forum which is stable and easy on the eye.

I have put alot of work into this over the last two weeks and now feel the effort is for nothing if it keeps changing. To be honest I dont feel like helping out much anymore when it come to designing the site.

The final say is with you mate. It is your site after all. I am just trying to help you out. You need a forum design and need to stick with it. I dont even like the layouts of some of the other forums I have been with but they keep them the same as it shows stability.

I thought about it but its all yours mate. I cant take a site over thats not mine. I have decided I am done with it.
