| The final group games. Lets see who really wants to get to the knockout rounds. Whats the odds of a conspiracy that Uruguay and Mexico draw to knock the French and South Africa out. | |

| They tried so hard South Africa but could not do it. The first hosts not to make the knock out rounds. As for the French | |

| I am not sad to see Italy go out yesterday. What really got me was when Slovakia took on Italys tactics of timewasting and the Italians complained like they have never seen anything like it. Take your medicine boys. The group stages are nearly over with and the knockout games are shaping up nicely with some tasty ties. Outside bet for me to make the semis is Uruguay. | |

| All the hype of the golden generation can finally be laid to rest. More like we he seen the No guts of a football team generation this competition. Its disgraceful the way the team have played this world cup and changes need to be made. | |

| Well the first knock-out rounds end today and then onto the quarter finals. Question to Capello "Ghana have got further than us, Why is that?" Brazil yet again show their quality as did the Argentines and Germans but I am going to cheer on one of the former teams that won the competition. Uruguay. | |

| I have had many a debate over this but he got punished and unfortunately Gyan choked the penalty. Then they had another chance to win the penalty shootout as one of Uruguays players penalty takers was excluded and Ghana still choked. Uruguay had a shout for a penalty and a very strong one but it was not given when Pantsil fouled the guy in the box. It evens itself out. Unfortunately ghana gave a good show but when it came to it they choked. | |

| Spain. For some reason I dont like this dutch team. Maybe its Robben falling over when ever someone goes near him or maybe its the way Van Bommell should have been red carded in the last two games with his over the top tackles and seems unbookable. What has annoyed me with Spain as well is the ability to try to walk the ball in the back of the net instead of going for the kill earlier. Pedro proved it in the semi-final when he should of just passed to Torres. | |

| My opinion of Webb has not changed at all after last night. I wanted Spain to win last night but he should of been tougher with both sides and carded the Spanish for play acting and red carded De Jong and Van Bommell. Overall I think it was an average World Cup Tournament. If Fifa think it was a complete success then they should shoot themselves but they got lots of money from sposorship so they wont care. Fifa need to now look at alot of things now like goal line technology. What to do when a player handles on the line and a few other things that will make the game for the better and more pleasant to watch. | |
